My main background is working with young children using my AA ECE. Recently, I have become a TBRI practitioner and have been so blessed to be connected with The Gathering Well team. My role is putting my background, education, and TBRI^® knowledge together to create a fun, educational, enriching night for your kiddos! My husband and I have three beautiful boys and spend our days wrangling in the chaos, which we absolutely love. Caring for kids is my absolute passion and fills my heart with joy!

My husband and I have four children, one of whom was brought into our family through adoption. I am passionate about this community because I personally get the challenges of caring for kids from hard places, and yet have experienced hope and healing through the resources offered by The Gathering Well. It has been a great joy of mine to combine my gifts and passions into something I find very meaningful and impacting for the adoption and foster community. I am thrilled about the opportunity to walk alongside all of you as we learn how to navigate caring for kids from hard places!

I am a freshman at South Dakota State University. I have been so blessed with the opportunity to spread the love and support that The Gathering Well has to offer through creativity and social media. I have adored seeing the power of foster care and adoption through close family friends, and I am over the moon to continue to learn more about this community.

I’ve seen the gift of adoption through various aspects of my life, including my family. My two younger brothers were adopted along with several of my cousins. I’m thrilled to be part of The Gathering Well and help equip families with the resources they need for their family to thrive. The gift of adoption is beautiful and being able to walk along that journey with others is something I’m honored to do!

I am the beloved wife of Eric DeHaan and mother of five precious souls. Our life has been profoundly impacted through our adoptions. Community with others who have created their families in similar ways has been vital to our family health. It is with great joy that I can be a part of bringing others into this community.

I am deeply grateful to be the father of five children (three biological and two adopted), the husband to Cara, and child of Christ. I have experienced firsthand both the joys and trials of adoption. I appreciate being a part of and learning from the broader adoption/foster community. In my spare time, I am a partner with the accounting firm Woltman Group, PC.

I live in Sioux Falls, SD, with my husband and my three children. I believe that our greatest human need is to be seen, heard, and valued. I’ve been deeply impacted by the awareness and application of connected parenting concepts and the belief in the power of caring more about connecting with people than controlling them, and it’s spilled over into all of who I am. Walking with families is a humbling and beautiful journey that I’m so honored to get to be a part of!

My name is Nicole Fluth. I’m a pediatric occupational therapist and owner of Functional Kids Pediatric Therapy in Sioux Falls. Through my work with patients and families, I have developed a fiery passion for helping children who have faced significant childhood trauma. I have found that all too often parents find themselves struggling to understand and respond to their children, which is where I can step in to offer knowledge, compassion, and hope. I am so excited to be a part of The Gathering Well team to provide much needed resources, support, and connection to these families in our community!
