Volunteer Opportunities
Family Gathering Buddy
For one evening a month, spend time with a small group of children (infants – 5th grade) under the guidance of our Kids’ Camp Director. No preparation is necessary as you go through different station activities and serve as a source of connection and regulation.
Commitment: 2.5 hours per month based on your availability
HALO Buddy
Children enrolled in HALO are assigned their own personal buddy. You’ll be the friendly face and positive role model who helps a child feel safe, seen, and known over the course of a ten week program.
Commitment: 2.5 hours/week for 10 weeks
Provide a Meal
Want to be a hero with a spatula (or a pizza delivery app)? Groups or individuals can provide meals to our amazing adoptive/foster families and incredible volunteers at our monthly Family Gatherings.
Commitment: Choose 1 month or all 9!
Respite Volunteer
Respite Volunteers provide informal childcare support, allowing caregivers to fully participate in Gathering Well training and educational sessions. This is a flexible, babysitting-style role — not programmatic — and is a meaningful way to support foster and adoptive families in your community.
